Madera Community College Academic Village Two

State Center Community College District

Madera Community College’s Academic Village Two, part of the master plan since the 1990s, is a significant new development. This 41,600 square-foot, two-story building is split into two wings. The south wing is dedicated to curriculum-related activities, featuring instructional spaces, criminology, distance learning, and staff offices. The north wing focuses on campus culture, housing a library, common areas, and outdoor courtyards. This structure has enhanced campus life by promoting engagement and interaction between students and faculty, fostering a sense of community and pride, and enriching the academic and social environment.

Academic Village Two exemplifies a comprehensive approach to educational design, emphasizing sustainability, community, and environmental integration.
