In 2010 Darden Architects was contracted for design of the Parking ticket Structure at Fresno Yosemite International Airport. Design was intended to support the growth of the Airport since becoming truly “International” in 2006 with flight offering to Guadalajara Mexico.

Because the parking exit structure serves a 24 hour per day service, it was important that the phasing of the construction of this new building and decommissioning of the old structure be seamless. In working with the Airport staff, Darden architects was able to accomplish this goal.

The design of the building is modern and features stark angularities.  The material selections were carefully considered to ensure the building would last, in addition to being ascetically pleasing. The building conveys a sense of forward thinking simplicity. The lighting of the structure plays dramatically upon the decidedly industrial 21st century design.
